Product Manager at RDMD

We are looking for an experienced product manager who is interested in being the product expert for our data operations and core research platform. If you are a systems thinker and you get excited thinking about the complexities of data moving across systems, building experiences that enable teams to work faster, and scaling out products from 1 to 100, then this is the role for you.

Sample set of problems that you’re prioritizing for:

Identify better ways for internal operations teams to communicate, track, and log issues with each other on the platform

Find ways to optimize the journey of a data element flowing through our system from initial input to output

Recommend ways to automate workflows and processes within the product to support scaling out our data operations growth

Your day-to-day ownership and responsibilities:

Own the entire roadmap for our internal data operations and core research platforms

Identify features, prioritize them, and author requirements with your cross-functional stakeholders

Be the scrum team quarterback, which involves setting goals, defining success metrics, overseeing implementation process, and communicating wins and lessons learned with the rest of the team

Observe internal stakeholders to identify pain points, and clarify problems that they’re looking to solve

Be the product expert on our data operations platform and share what you’re seeing in the product world with the team

About you:

4+ years working as a product manager

Experience scaling out products that have information architecture and workflow considerations

Get excited to solve complex problems associated with data

Have an experimental mindset and tolerance for trying new things quickly and scrapping them if they don’t work

Comfortable having full autonomy to make decisions with minimal oversight

About Us:

RDMD’s mission is to empower patients and communities to accelerate drug development for rare diseases. Rare diseases are actually not that rare: 1 in 10 people in the United States has a rare disease, and 50% are children. Your work at RDMD will directly affect people diagnosed with serious rare illnesses by connecting patients and their data to the researchers who are actively developing treatments.

If our mission resonates with you, but you only match some of these attributes, we hope you apply regardless. We are committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and enthusiastically encourage people from historically underrepresented groups in tech to apply to RDMD. We can’t wait to learn more about you!
