Turo’s mission is to put the world’s 1.5 billion+ vehicles to better use. To achieve our ambitious mission, we are looking for a pioneering, mission-driven, and supportive Salesforce Developer to lead our Salesforce sales efforts. 

Turo currently operates in four countries, and our Phoenix Sales team is growing 3x this year. This role will work alongside our Sales and international teams that are responsible for the supply growth for our new and existing hosts in the marketplace. 

As a Salesforce Developer, you’ll lead a cross-functional team of sales leaders as well as data analysts and engineers.

What you’ll do

Collaborate extensively with sales leaders, engineers, product managers, and data analysts to deliver optimal Salesforce performance

Provide technical mentorship to the team as we balance between building sustainable, high-impact projects and shipping them quickly

Work with sales leaders to build a roadmap based upon key business metrics

Act as a subject matter expert regarding Salesforce's capabilities and functionalities 

Build custom sales processes, conduct A/B tests to measure impact, optimize workflow automation, ability to create custom reports and dashboards 

Knowledge/Responsibilities

Strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and Apex development

Expertise in designing, developing, testing, implementing, deploying and maintenance of software applications

Capability to adapt and deliver solutions in an agile environment 

Creating robust applications and identifying the best strategies to assist the sales team to maximize their goals 

Experienced with full lifecycle application development (SDLC)

Utilize engineering tools such as version control systems management, build processes, and debugger in the software development process

Strong understanding of, and practical experience with web application development

Minimum Qualifications 

BS/BA in Computer Science or related science/technical field 

2-5 years of experience with developing software and technical implementations of customer projects

2+ years of experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud

Salesforce certification: Administrator, App Builder or Dev 1

Solid understanding of OOP methodologies and design patterns 

Custom application development preferred

Desired Qualifications 

Application experience in one of the more of the following:

Languages/Frameworks: Java/Spring or .NET, Apex 

Strongly prefer Apex experience

Web services: RESTful web services and SOAP, tools such as postman/soapui is a plus

Databases: SQL Server, Postgres, or any other relational database

Version Control: Git/Bitbucket desired

Scripting: Bash, Python, Javascript
