How we are protecting employees from COVID-19
 
At Imperfect Foods, employee health and safety is our top priority. We have implemented processes and precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our facilities. We provide gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer to all essential employees who must report to work. Before entering our warehouse, employees have their temperatures checked. In addition, we take great care to ensure frequently touched surfaces are sanitized throughout the day and all warehouses are fully sanitized weekly.
 
We have also implemented an Emergency Sick Leave policy providing full-time and part-time employees 2 additional weeks of paid time off and up to 26 weeks paid leave if they have a confirmed case of COVID-19.
 
About the Role:
 
Imperfect is seeking a Chief Product and Growth Officer to direct and determine Imperfect’s digital product vision and strategy. The candidate will own product execution for a large part of the business as well as influence product strategy, process, and culture to position Imperfect as the “first and favorite” grocery shop for our customers. We are looking for a passionate product leader who can take on difficult, ambiguous projects with excitement and curiosity. Responsibilities:

    • Set the Digital Product vision and strategy across Operations, Merchandising, Growth and Customer Experience
    • Position Imperfect Foods as the “first and favorite” grocery shop for the majority of our customers by building a high-performance digital product organization 
    • Own, plan and execute Imperfect’s growth strategy to ensure the company acquires the right customers at the right CAC
    • Own the digital customer experience from the discovery of Imperfect Foods, to subscribing and receiving their first order, to being a loyal customer for years and referring their friends and family
    • Develop and execute a plan for a first-class digital experience that highlights our unique value propositions and product selections
    • Generate and lead new business opportunities to enhance revenue
    • Provide guidance on high-level business decisions as part of Imperfect’s Executive Team

Skills and Qualifications

    • You have a proven track record of growing and scaling teams to/through successful exit
    • You have a high level of analytical problem solving, project management, and collaboration skills
    • You have 7+ years of experience in product and/or marketing
    • You have 3+ years of experience in quantitative or analytical executive level roles
    • You have experience in e-commerce and/or B2C subscription business
    • Experience in food and online grocery preferred

Details of the Position:

    • Full-time exempt position reporting directly to the CEO
    • Based out of our San Francisco Headquarters in the Bayview district

Physical Requirements:

    • Sedentary work; involves sitting most of the time
    • Occasional movement around the office may be necessary
