The Supplier Quality Engineer will drive the quality improvement of Tonal products at vendors, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.  You excel at ensuring product quality and reliability and adept at quality management through outsourced partners.

What You Will Do

Work with ME, EE, SW, SBE, suppliers and CM's to qualify tools, assembly and test equipment and processes  

Ensure suppliers and CM's meet quality and productivity targets

Drive the failure analysis and solution implementation at all suppliers and CM's

Drive continuous quality improvement at all suppliers and CM's with systematic methods – SPC, DOE, 8D, etc.

Support cost reduction and sustaining activities

Work with Engineering, SCM and MFG to qualify new vendors, suppliers, and CM's

Publish quality metrics to the management team and manufacturing department

Who You Are

5+ years of in-house and outsourced consumer electronics quality/manufacturing experience

BS Degree in ME, IE, EE, business or similar

Experience in EMS/ODM 

Knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical fabrication, assembly, and test operations

Minimum 5 years of experience working with Asia supply chains

Experience within a hyper-growth startup preferred 

Knowledge of Statistics, Spreadsheet, PLM and ERP system

Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems

Experience with strategic projects and analysis

Excellent communication skills in English
