Senior Technical Product Manager, Robotics at Fetch Robotics

Fetch Robotics is a leading provider of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR's) that is revolutionizing the logistics industry. We are searching for the brightest and most passionate engineers to enable humans and robots to work together. We are creating a robotics platform with reach from commercial and retail applications to the cloud. 

The successful candidate will apply understanding of deep technical concepts to define product specifications and performance requirements; align product specifications with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering as well as manufacturing engineering teams; define product specifications and performance requirements; provide technical and hands-on training on robotics products to the global organization; develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace; oversee product research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs; develop sales and customer tools; train local product managers and the sales teams; develop new product plans, align the offers of the product within the group; identify future winning products; establish pricing strategies; be the tactical owner of Product P&L; provide product positioning and definitions; and serve as sales support.

Strong analytical skills are a must. The successful candidate will confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products; prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment; estimate labor, material, or construction costs for budget preparation purposes; supervise or train project team members as necessary; investigate customer or public complaints to determine the nature and extent of problems; and oversee product production efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

This position reports to the VP of Product Management


5+ years of technical product management experience

Deep understanding of systems composed of hardware and software

Deep technical understanding of robotics, controls and basic understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts

Prior experience with supply chain or manufacturing markets is a plus

Prior experience as a hands-on software or hardware engineer is a plus

Excellent communication skills and ability to describe technical issues at varying levels of detail depending on the audience

Ability to travel periodically to customer sites and industry events
