The mission of Canva’s communications team is to share the Canva story with the world. As part of the team, you’ll be helping Canva become a household name, by creating amazing content. You’ll manage end-to-end production of video content across our teams. You’ll have the opportunity to build out our internal production team to help bring the story of our community and team to the world.


Work with our internal brand and paid acquisition teams to ideate campaigns, execute the creative assets and and analyse the performance of campaigns using the metrics provided by the media platforms

Lead video content production for advertising and PR content. You’ll own the creative process, working with stakeholders to brief, create scripts, conceptualise, storyboard, produce and film videos featuring our team and community

Edit footage using desktop editing software and finalise for social media, Youtube, internal use and television. This also includes graphic design and animation work using tools such as Da Vinci Resolve 16 and After Effects. 

Support production team, including booking talent and liaising with key internal stakeholders such as PR, design, content management to ensure the timely delivery of inputs

Develop and build out internal production capability at Canva, acquiring and maintaining production equipment including lighting, cameras, audio and video recording, props, microphones for location and studio production

This is a swiss-army knife role, which involves many aspects of PR and advertising, such as expertise in creative direction, production, ideation and post-production work.

Be the custodian of Canva’s brand look and feel as presented in all Canva’s video outputs and ensure the work of internal and external video personnel is of consistently high-quality.
