Job Description 

Doctor On Demand is looking for a Revenue Cycle Improvements Analyst to join its finance team.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, collaborative team and have a direct impact on Doctor On Demand’s fast growing business. 

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle, The Revenue Cycle Improvements Analyst will partner with leaders in Revenue Cycle Management, Finance, Product, and Operations to manage complex projects, communicate and build relationships cross functionally, and implement measurable solutions. This role is crucial in guiding the company towards scalable solutions that will improve margins, workflows and reporting metrics to name a few. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a road map and act as the stakeholder to drive complex Revenue Cycle improvement opportunities. This may include opportunities that span multiple departments, multiple service lines, or have complex change management or learning impacts. 

  • Partner with Implementation, Product, and Operations to deploy, coach and sustain the Revenue Cycle functions.

  • Take a proactive approach to investigate gaps within the Revenue Cycle processes.

  • Generate compelling business cases on how to improve across stakeholders.

  • Consistently comb through large amounts of data and draw insights from it that will influence change.

  • Stay current on latest industry trends and thought leadership to help guide areas of focus and solutions within the Revenue Cycle workflows.

  • Research systems and processes to help inform and make recommendations on how to scale the Financial operations and leverage benchmarking.

  • Develop, pitch and implement tactics to support strategy, growth and development.

  • Informs and influences Enterprise alignment of people, process, data and technology.

  • Assist in the coordination and distribution of work assignments and priorities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of end to end Revenue Cycle experience: patient accounting systems, medical claim operations, or central billing office process improvement.

  • Have an excellent understanding of system technologies, integration and application within a Revenue Cycle/Financial operational setting.

  • Ability to consistently comb through large amounts of data and draw insights from it.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and make decisions.

  • High standards of accuracy and precision.

  • Understanding of insurance plan benefit design, as well as ANSI 5010 837 and 835 files.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Capable of presenting complex Revenue Cycle workflow information in an easy to understand format.

  • Can work with employees at all levels of the organization in a highly collaborative environment.

  • Preferred: Strong technical acumen (understanding of JSON, XML, X12/EDI, SQL, system configuration management, and database structures). Experience with business intelligence tools can be a substitute for this. Certification/proficiency with EHR systems, such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, GE Centricity, CPSI, MEDITECH, or NextGen.
