Overview

The eCommerce Operations Associate, focused on Tonal's marketing environment, will be a strategic member of the Revenue & Growth Team, which has ownership of driving Tonal adoption and sales. A successful eCommerce Operations Associate will make a tangible impact across the business in this highly visible role. They will manage eCommerce operations, drive the user experience across Tonal.com, manage website performance & compliance KPI’s, and manage growth marketing eCommerce projects. They will work directly with broader Marketing, Customer Care, and Inside Sales teams to manage day to day operations and offer strategic insights into the status and performance of marketing projects & campaigns. The role is based in Toronto, Canada and will report to the Growth Marketing Manager, E-Commerce based in San Francisco CA USA.

What You Will Do

Analyze and optimize our e-commerce platform and website, working collaboratively with the broader marketing team to generate insights and drive revenue growth

Partner closely with design and development teams to manage production, staging and QA environments 

Manage solutions research, onboarding, and migrations

Monitor and maintain website performance, stability, and compliance

Manage multiple platforms, tools, and solutions to help drive Growth Marketing strategies

Work with cross-functional teams to push projects forward, driving recommendations through to implementation, and optimize eCommerce Marketing operations

Manage relationships with 3rd party partners and vendors to drive growth marketing projects

Manage day-to-day store operations 

Collaborate with marketing team on campaigns and calendar

Develop new approaches to drive users through the site and eventually to purchase

Manage Tonals referral and discount programs using multiple platforms and working with multiple departments

Own eCommerce process documentation and system notification strategy

Manage Tonals privacy and return policies for partnerships and campaigns

Conduct analysis of competitor ecommerce experiences and stay current on e-commerce best practices

Who You are

1 - 2 years of experience working directly with design, development, and QA teams

3 - 4 years of professional experience in an e-commerce environment

Deep professional experience with eCommerce & marketing tools and platforms

Deep professional experience managing complex technical projects

Experience writing process documentation, project, and design briefs

Expert-level XLS skills

High attention to detail and commitment to flawless execution

Excellent communication and project/task management skills

Proven ability to thrive in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment

Extra Credit

Statistics/econometrics skills

Experience with digital, email, influencer, and affiliate marketing

Experience with project management

Experience with CSS, HTML, Javascript

Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics or business

WooCommerce and/or Shopify experience
