How we are protecting employees from COVID-19
At Imperfect Foods, employee health and safety is our top priority. We have implemented processes and precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our facilities. We provide gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer to all essential employees who must report to work. Before entering our warehouse, employees have their temperatures checked. In addition, we take great care to ensure frequently touched surfaces are sanitized throughout the day and all warehouses are fully sanitized weekly.
We have also implemented an Emergency Sick Leave policy providing full-time and part-time employees 2 additional weeks of paid time off and up to 26 weeks paid leave if they have a confirmed case of COVID-19.
About the Role:
Imperfect is looking for an Executive Assistant to support our CEO and Leadership team. You’ll work directly with the Chief of Staff to maximize the effectiveness of the Leadership team. This position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency and independence, and a passion for our mission to eliminate food waste.


    • Enable absolute efficiency for the CEO and other executives, removing all possible distractions from their core strategic functions
    • Effectively and efficiently manage executives’ calendars on a day-to-day basis
    • Respond to all internal and external meeting requests for executives in a timely manner and prioritize their calendars based on business needs
    • Constantly monitor emails to ensure that nothing is missed, including requests and responses internally and externally, as well as directives from executives
    • Maintain all standing internal meetings, ensuring a conference room is always available
    • Plan and implement logistics for executive team travel, meetings, conferences, workshops, retreats, tradeshows, and other special events
    • Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics for company and customer events
    • Ad-hoc project management on an as-needed basis

Skills & Qualifications:

    • Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed company
    • Basic Excel and analytics experience
    • Flawless written and oral communication skills
    • Able to manage your workload and say “no” when too much is on your plate
    • Comfort and ease with calendaring events, planning travel and coordinating details
    • Familiarity with google suite, slack and project management software and ability to quickly adapt to new software systems

    • You’re confident in your ability to learn and execute on anything, but you have zero ego: there is no job too big or too small if it contributes to the core mission
    • You’re comfortable interfacing and collaborating with C-Suite and VP-level executives on a daily basis
    • You’re comfortable working with ambiguity, but also have impeccable attention to detail
    • You’re highly organized with strong time management and resource management skills
    • You keep projects moving forward – whether it’s organizing a friend’s birthday party or rolling out a new product for a company
    • You’re a technology native; picking up new tools and technical skills comes quickly and naturally to you, and you’re always eager to find tech solutions to eliminate friction and manual work
    • You ask questions and dig into the details when something isn’t clear to you
    • You’re passionate about our mission to eliminate food waste and create a better food system for all

Details of the Position:

    • Full-time exempt position reporting to the Chief of Staff
