As our sole Marketing Manager, you’ll drive growth, engagement, and love with our core audience: K-8 teachers. Building upon the millions of teachers who already rely upon ClassDojo as an essential part of their classroom teaching experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape our marketing organization and function during this exciting growth phase at the company. While partnering closely with our product development teams serving teachers. 

How you’ll make an impact 

Drive growth in ClassDojo teacher user base through both in-product experiences and acquisition marketing channels. Measured by growth in new teachers.  

Increase teacher adoption within schools through lifecycle marketing and in-product engagement channels. Measured by % of teacher usage within schools. 

Test and scale efficient acquisition marketing channels for reaching new and existing teachers. 

Develop and execute a holistic teacher lifecycle experience that moves teachers from trial to adoption to advocacy within their schools.   

Identify, execute and analyze new marketing programs and campaigns end to end. 

Unlock key insights on teachers and the classroom experience that inform marketing and product opportunities  

Build upon our marketing infrastructure and processes to create scale and efficiency. 

Act as strategic partner for company leadership team including Head of Marketing, Product, and CEO.


Proven ability to grow user base of consumer technology products and services  

Consumer marketing generalist with a strong breadth of marketing disciplines. 

Passion for gleaning unique consumer insights, empathic understanding of consumers’ motivations and jobs to be done. 

Experience building and executing marketing channels such as in-product, email, in-app marketing, notifications and social.

Analytical strength, desire to be hands on with data and reporting on impact. 

Builder at heart. Motivated by turning ideas into execution. Adept at shifting between strategic thinking and hands-on execution. 

Business operational experience, including building out marketing systems 

Been part of successful build stage of marketing function. Thriving in resource-constrained, fast-paced environments.

Strong holistic problem-solver and good strategic judgment.
