About the Role

As Highspot’s Sr. Manager of Compensation and Benefits, you will be the owner of our strategy for all initiatives around our global total rewards programs and a key contributor to building an environment where employees can grow, contribute and thrive. You will apply thought leadership, business acumen and creativity to design and implement world-class, sustainable and impactful total rewards and people initiatives. Key focus areas will include but not be limited to the design, delivery and administration of our compensation and benefits programs, our job architecture and partnering with our HR Business Partners to design and implement people operation programs.  You will also be responsible for evaluating, maintaining and making recommendations to improve programs around compliance, reporting and HR systems.  You will enable senior leadership to look around corners with data-driven recommendations for innovative programs as well as iterate on current programs to improve performance, retention and enhance Highspot’s continued investment in our People Engine.

What You'll Do

        Build the strategic roadmap for Highspot’s total rewards programs to drive continuous growth, create a competitive advantage for attracting talent and continuously evolve our employee experience
        Create and present comprehensive analysis and data to assess current compensation and benefit programs and provide market competitive and business aligned solutions using internal and external benchmark data sources
        Manage global compensation and benefits programs, and implement global company-wide improvements. Ensure programs operate a high standard of consistency, accuracy, and are compliant with company policies and federal, state and local laws and regulations
        Provide compensation consultation to Highspot Leadership based on deep subject matter expertise
        Design and ensure the integrity of job and grade architecture, pay ranges and job and pay mix guidance
        Partner with Finance to design, lead and ensure executive buy-in for our semi-annual pay review cycles, competitive market analysis and off cycle compensation changes
        Lead end to end process execution inclusive of developing project plans, driving project schedules and cultivating collaborative relationships across our global HR Team and business stakeholders to meet shared goals
        Leverage vendor relationships to deliver competitive and cost-effective benefit and compensation plans
        Make recommendations for enhancement and standardization of HR business processes and policies and systems to align with the strategic vision of the business and facilitate system deployment, integrity, scalability and integration
        Communicate data analysis, trends and key program details across all levels of the organization
        Ensure that Highspot stays ahead of trends in total rewards best practices by analyzing trends and utilizing data to make recommendations, effectively drive decision making and influence change that enables the company to rapidly scale
        May manage a small team, providing direction and coaching for career success

Your Background

        Comprehensive experience in global compensation and benefits including: competitive global rewards practices and delivery models, global job architectures and development of job profiles
        Experience working with sales compensation program design, competitive market analysis, forecasting trends/costs and modeling outcomes
        Experience partnering with compensation survey consulting firms.  Ability to take ownership of identifying new and unfamiliar contacts and resources and network effectively to consistently deliver innovative compensation solutions
        Ability to toggle between strategic planning, customer focused design, and hands-on operational excellence, as well as an excellent working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
        Demonstrated project management experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
        Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to rigorously measure and analyze the right things to meet business objectives
        Passion for detail with demonstrated ownership of quality, constantly seeking to identify and eliminate root cause of errors and inefficiencies
        Transparent communication style, with the ability to simply and clearly communicate complex concepts; partnered with a high degree of integrity and ability to exercise discretion
        Strong interpersonal skills with a customer first mindset, and the ability to build credibility with, and effectively influence, across multiple stakeholders, including executives
        Possess an experimental mindset and thrive in an environment where you can create, build, and iterate
        Advanced excel modeling expertise and preferably experience using Workday
        HR or HR Operations background plus 6 + years experience in compensation and benefits programs and services; people management experience preferred; working experience across HR & Recruiting Operations
