Overview

As a PR & Influencer Coordinator, you will be responsible for helping boost brand awareness by helping execute Tonal’s PR and influencer marketing strategy and assisting in finding new talent for Tonal to partner with. This includes owning and managing a customer advocacy ambassador program from the ground up.  

You will partner closely with Tonal’s Social, Community, Brand & Product Marketing team members to identify and collaborate on opportunities to elevate and differentiate Tonal as an innovator in the connected fitness space. You will also work alongside our Acquisition and Growth teams in order to maximize PR & Influencer assets to further expand reach and support top and mid-funnel initiatives.  Lastly, you will partner with Tonal’s external agency on the planning and execution of relevant campaigns. 

This role is based in Toronto, Canada and will report to the Director of PR & Influencer Marketing who is based in New York, NY. 

What You Will Do

Support our Director of PR & Influencer Marketing on influencer campaigns, with some PR support 

Build and manage ambassador program centered around activation of existing customers with notable social footprint

Identifying relevant influencer talent, assisting with contracting and reviewing branded content

Help report on key ROI metrics including engagements, clicks, number of posts, conversions and the number of creators we’ve partnered with

Assist with the upkeep of campaigns by placing influencer orders, creating unique links and codes for order tracking, putting together contracts, and submitting invoices for payment

Help research new talent to partner with that align with Tonal’s target audience

Help track and activate relevant athlete and celebrity relationships

Press monitoring and tracking, including relevant industry news and insights 

Contribute to monthly reporting and recaps

Who You Are

1+ year of experience in influencer marketing - influencer agency experience is a plus!

Experience working with an influencer platform is preferred (i.e. CreatorIQ) 

Excellent communication skills  - you value relationship building both externally with partners and internally with key stakeholders

Strong organizational and project management skills  - you take autonomy and ownership of your work and adhere to timelines 

Entrepreneurial mindset - you are a self-starter who is able to work well with a team

Can-do attitude - you are a driven, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast paced environment.
