As a Data Partnership Manager at Spire on our Maritime team, you will move fast and solve global problems. You will join a growing team responsible for the successful delivery of the product vision that supports the business objectives of the business unit. More specifically you will be focusing on maintaining and expanding the relationships with our various partners while working with product management to ensure the integration of the partner’s services in the product. In addition, you will coordinate with the product development team and the product marketing team.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Partnership Manager to help build world-class customer-centric data products that solve industry and customer problems. This is a person who has the experience to manage partner relationships but at the same time is able to understand highly technical products. The person will explore and keep an overview of Maritime Data Eco-system and garden the position of Spire. You will help us relentlessly improve our products and services based upon partner data. This is a job where you will have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and collaborate across multiple functions.

Responsibilities of your role:

  • Relationships managing of existing partnerships and data suppliers
  • Maintain direct and active relationships with strategic partners in the maritime industry, including contract work, proactively resolving business, technical.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, product marketing and product development to ensure clear communication on the partnership strategy to support the product vision.
  • Drive the Data partnership strategy to fit within the product roadmap
  • Provide consultative services to Spire sales and Sales engineering teams
  • Represent Spire in external meetings with executives from other companies while displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics.
  • Researching and keeping abreast of the maritime competitive landscape

Basic qualifications:

  • 4+ years of procurement or suppliers facing  / partner management relationship.
  • Prior experience  with the Maritime Data or Space data field
  • 2+ years extensive contract negotiation required

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Knowledge about the Maritime industry
  • Strong product acumen
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with peers and managers, both internally and externally.
  • Experience presenting to internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority.
  • Experience defining, developing and leading projects.
  • Quantitative/analytical experience.
  • Experience working as part of an international team. 
  • Fluency in English
