Training Specialist at Turo

We’re looking for a world-class Training Specialist to join our Arizona Team.  You will have the opportunity to work closely with our Customer Support, Verifications, Trust & Safety, Claims and Sales teams.  You will improve, maintain and facilitate our Training Materials for our almost 300 in-person and outsourced agents, and more as our team expands. This role is 40% facilitation and 60% updating and maintaining content. Heavy travel will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop training materials and curriculum. Keep training materials up to date and on-brand, and develop effective curriculum. 
  • Create and coordinate training schedules and to direct learning structure.
  • Facilitate training sessions with new hires in San Francisco and at outsourced locations, in and out of the U.S.
  • Provide additional coaching and re-training for existing team members and outsourcers, based on performance feedback.
  • Support LMS Management.
  • Represent Turo's mission, vision, values with integrity and professionalism. 

Requirements: 

  • Strong customer service and training background required.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills required.
  • Ability to articulate complex process workflows in a creative and concise way.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with competing priorities. 
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision/direction
  • Prior training experience is required.
  • Experience creating process content and training courses.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent required. 
  • Bonus: Start-up experience.
  • Experience using Zendesk or other CRM applications, and strong knowledge of Gmail, Google Docs and Excel.
  • Travel up to 15% of work-time, to train at U.S. and international facilities.
