About the Role
 
As a Director Product Manager you will be responsible for delivering product features that will help us achieve our core vision and strategy. In this role, you will partner with various stakeholders from engineering, design, customer success, sales and marketing to execute on your vision and deliver it to customers.

You enjoy engaging with customers and prospects to develop a deep understanding of the security problems they are trying to address.
You are accustomed to converting ambiguous requirements into well-scoped engineering stories that are feasible and useful.
You define features with intellectual rigor and a bias for simplicity.

What you will do

    • Gain a deep understanding of the Banyan platform and be the “go-to” product expert for customers, partners, and internal functions
    • Identify and fill product gaps
    • Generate new ideas that address market requirements,  improve user experience and solve customer pain points
    • Define problems statements and feature requirements with clarity and rigor
    • Understand the broad vision and obsess over the details
    • Work closely with design and engineering teams to deliver new features with velocity
    • Make difficult priority and trade-off decisions to ensure successful feature launches
    • Evangelize features internally and externally to ensure users benefit from Banyan’s products

It is a huge plus if you have

    • 10+ years of experience in product management, technical marketing or solutions architecture
    • Experience being hands on and managing/building a team grows
    • Real-world experience developing and launching enterprise security products
    • A highly driven and entrepreneurial personality, with an ability to get stuff done
    • Superb written and verbal communication skills; a technologist at heart who can bridge business cases and technical implementation
    • BA/BS in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline
    • Knowledge of the Zero Trust ecosystem and competitors
    • Experience with cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCPWorking knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks - SSO, SAML Federated Identity, OIDC, RBACO
    • Operational knowledge of networking protocols - understanding of the various layers, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP
    • Understanding of PKI
