The Director of Mortgage Operations at Flyhomes is responsible for the end-to-end mortgage origination process. As a disrupter in the lending industry, you will elevate the buyer’s capabilities by enhancing mortgage origination, underwriting, closing, and servicing processes. Using your expert knowledge in mortgage product strategy, you will ensure that Flyhomes clients receive the best possible rates, fees, services, and workable solutions to unforeseen challenges. This role will also be critical in dreaming, building, and scaling future financing products for Flyhomes clients. What You’ll Do

  • Drive operational strategy, continuous improvement, and non-stop optimization of our mortgage processes & systems
  • Ensure compliance through oversight of the mortgage fulfillment processes
  • Develop operational roadmap for mortgage team and partner cross functionally to drive scale
  • Support Flyhomes’ goals of improving the client experience via vertical integration workflows
  • Build a world class mortgage operations team
  • Manage lender relationships in broker & correspondent channels
  • Lead Flyhomes Mortgage efforts to become a direct lender

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 5-7 years of experience building mortgage operations from the ground up
  • +2 years of experience in a startup environment, or fast-growing company preferred
  • Experience managing managers is preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of purchase, refi & jumbo guidelines
