As Product Manager for Content, you will be responsible for ensuring we make the right guided workout content for our members. This includes multi-week strength training programs as well as a growing variety of additional exercise formats including yoga, high intensity and more. In addition to managing the overall mix of production, you’ll be responsible for ensuring we deliver the best possible workout experiences that leave members feeling accomplished and excited for their next Tonal workout. You’ll spend a substantial amount of time gathering and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, as well as working closely with members of the content team to produce and deliver workout content.
What You Will Do
- Sit at the intersection of the product and content teams
- Maintain prioritized backlog of content based on customer and business needs
- Define detailed experience requirements for content in partnership with the Workout Experience product team, and ensure content produced meets them
- Gather and analyze qualitative customer feedback and analyze usage data to find out what’s working and not working
- Analyze competitive and market landscape to identify workout content opportunities
- Communicate plans and details to stakeholders and execs
Who You Are
- 2+ years of consumer product management experience in an agile development environment
- Experience in a company with a strong focus on video content streaming
- Experience with product analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, Google Analytics
- Self-starter, proactive, problem-solver, demonstrated team motivator with a bias for action
- Organized and great with backlogs, PRDs, spreadsheets
- Insatiable curiosity for understanding users and defining experiences that exceed expectations
- Great at driving alignment across teams with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to think both strategically and tactically
Extra Credit
- Prior experience with video production
- Previous experience in health and fitness or sports-related industry
- Background in personal training, exercise science, or kinesiology
- Proficient SQL skills or similar coding experience
