This Mechanical/Reliability Technician role provides critical support for the Hardware Engineering Team to develop and test new mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.  Primary activities involve evaluating, testing and qualifying componentry for new product concepts as well as existing products and accessories.  As a Technician, you will work closely with the Mechanical and Reliability teams to test change to our products.
What You Will Do
- Disassemble and reassemble machines going through reliability testing
- Build/assemble prototypes and sub-assemblies
- Fabricate/source rapid prototype components
- Basic electronics assembly, cabling, rework and repair
- Provide assembly test, feedback and documentation
- Debug electro-mechanical prototypes
- Help generate new concept ideas and solutions
- Support in-field service program
Who You Are
- Experience as a Mechanical Technician, Lab Specialist, Operator, equipment installer, or similar
- Capable and excited to be hands on with Tonal’s products
- Works well independently, but also asking for help when needed
- Enjoys complex mechanical systems
- Familiar with consumer products and electro-mechanical systems
- Proficiency with and tools
- Detail oriented Team player with high integrity
- Open to feedback and constantly striving to improve
- Available for full-time temporary work for at least 4-months beginning in October
- Able to lift up to 75 pounds
