CommerceIQ’s Strategists are key to supporting our sales and advertising pilot processes. They are working with top brands and retailers and are critical in assisting with RFPs, customized sales proposals, the creation of strategy for new advertising clients, and management of advertising pilots.  

In this role you will:

  • Help the top consumer brands, like Kellogg’s and Bayer, succeed in the eCommerce space
  • Learn from a team of eCommerce experts who have a wide range of experience to share

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with sales to support pre-sales activities and as such will:
    • Participate in sales meetings
    • Set up, run and execute on Advertising (e.g. AMS or WMG) pilots and ensuring their success
    • Participate in account strategy meetings
    • Benchmark customer advertising strategies
    • Respond to RFPs
  • Become an expert on the CommerceIQ Platform, including the advertising, sales operations and supply chain modules
  • Use the CIQ Platform and Data to form a story that we can share with enterprise level prospects, create media plans, and provide areas of opportunity for their brands
  • Offer your expertise as a consistent voice throughout the sales process helping to influence annual and multi-year contracts. 
  • Present to both executives and practitioners and set proper expectations with prospects
  • Focus on moving the needle with respect to the customers’ KPIs (RoAS, Share of Voice, iACoS, and other key performance indicators for AMS) and continuously showcase the value of CommerceIQ’s platform throughout the pilot period

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years experience, 1+ year experience in managing AMS budgets for Amazon Vendor accounts (in excess of $1M annual budget) in a consulting/agency role OR as an e-commerce account/marketing manager at a brand
  • Be a proactive self-starter that is comfortable with navigating ambiguity, able to develop processes where no processes currently exist, and always looking for opportunities to add value and learn
  • Experience providing product demonstrations, new business pitches, and completing RFPs
  • Track record of delivering substantial growth in marketing ROI for Fortune 1000 companies
  • Sales hunger/ Drive to help land new customers
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (marketing, business, analytics, or similar)
  • Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication
  • Must have a data-driven, analytical approach to problem-solving and strong Excel skills (pref. experience with Tableau and/or Microsoft BI)
  • Excellent planning, project and time management, and decision-making skills with the ability to self-manage numerous projects simultaneously
