Meet your Future Neighbors

The International Operations Manager at Nextdoor oversees the successful rollout of new and existing products and features internationally. This role is part of Nextdoor’s Global Expansion team and works closely with cross-functional partners including Product, Business, Marketing, Legal, Engineering and Customer Support. The International Operations Manager will be responsible for partnering with these teams to help deepen Nextdoor’s global presence by improving and scaling our (product) operational efficiencies, helping achieve product objectives and delivering excellent customer experience. This role will require you to both think creatively about how to build an increasingly scalable launch process by soliciting feedback from international teams and be hands on in driving action. As the International Operations Manager, you will be critical in helping move our business forward globally. 

The Impact You’ll Make

  • Plan, coordinate, and drive discipline around the processes for testing, launching and rollout of new products and features internationally
  • Develop, manage and continuously improve processes for scale that help our Global Expansion, Product and Engineering teams meet their goals more efficiently and effectively
  • Work with stakeholder teams to collect, prioritize and communicate product-related challenges to be considered by product and engineering in future development
  • Identify and coordinate the interdependencies among projects, products and other important initiatives across the organization that impact global
  • Program manage and project plan global product and operations changes across various teams to ensure on-time delivery and to specifications, escalate where needed
  • Manage regular status meetings and share notes such as weekly product roll-out updates to the international team
  • Evaluate current tools and processes on a regular basis and recommend changes for improvement with the objective to improve the way we operate globally
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering and regional teams to address requirements which lead to successful international launches 
  • Uncover new opportunities to further improve the member experience post product launch and partner with Product to size, prioritize and launch improvements

What You’ll Bring to The House

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of professional experience in an international program management, product operations, business operations, business consulting or a similar role in a global tech company
  • Experience with JIRA is a must. PMP Certification (or similar) is a plus
  • Experience building trusted relationships with Product Management and Engineering
  • Has a highly collaborative approach, with experience leading cross-functional projects and managing and influencing competing priorities of multiple stakeholders across varied teams and timezones

  • Excellent written and verbal business communication skills
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
