Description:

We are looking for an Associate Designer to create stunning visual assets for print and digital that elevate the brand and incite engagement. You will develop and design ad campaigns comprised of static, video, and motion graphics for various paid and organic channels and be willing to let data guide your creative choices. As the Associate Designer, you will be responsible for conveying our brand identity and voice through all user-facing communications and ensuring brand consistency across campaigns and materials. The ideal candidate will be nimble and can adapt quickly to shifts in project timelines and priorities. The position will report to the Senior Designer and work closely with the Marketing Team to understand overarching strategy and create materials that will build awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Design visuals, animations, illustrations, and motion graphics for customer activation including marketing collateral, social media, video, email, and web 
  • Work with Marketing team to create paid ads ensuring ads meet best practices and are delivered with correct specs across various social channels including Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok
  • Collaborate with User Acquisition team to develop creative digital strategy and tactics with data-driven analysis
  • Work cross-functionally with the Marketing team to produce brand consistent collateral

Requirements

  • 2+ years of digital and print design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent design degree required in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar discipline
  • Experience creating assets for paid ads, social channels, video, and print
  • Strong drawing and illustration skills
  • Video and motion graphic experience
  • Excellent graphic design skills: composition, visual hierarchy, typography
  • Adaptability and quick thinking for times when projects change, timelines shift, or scopes vary. Knowledge around how to navigate these situations and the ability to mitigate issues as they arise.
  • Experienced knowledge of relevant design software (Adobe Creative Suite—Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects
  • B2C experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic photography knowledge
  • Understanding of Google Analytics reporting and Digital Ad Management reporting and performance
  • Experience working in Adobe Premiere Pro or other video editing software
