At Starship, we are redefining how goods reach the places where we live. We see a future where a new generation of convenience services becomes available to everyone – made possible by our awesome autonomous neighbourhood robots. We have brought together some incredible talent and already have hundreds of our robots driving along sidewalks across the United States and four countries in Europe.
 
To continue this mission, we are now looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our global HR team. The main goal of this role is to find great technical talent for our Engineering and Product team to support the growth of Starship. You will be keeping our recruitment process quality way above the market average and our hiring standards sky high. Typical roles to be hired include Data, Software and Electronic engineers. Our tech roles are mostly based in Tallinn, with a large part of the product team in Helsinki as well.

In this role you will get to

    • Create the recruitment profile together with the hiring manager and hiring panel, create the job description based on the profile whilst making sure we are 100% aligned within the company on who we are looking for
    • Craft the sourcing strategy needed to find that specific profile incl. which channels to use, how to reach out, how to sell the position to turn quality leads into motivated candidates
    • ...and implement that strategy efficiently:)
    • Constantly explore new sourcing channels and tools, relentlessly re-innovate our approach to hiring
    • Dive into the technical roles and teams at Starship to be able to have a first screen of candidates with the same confidence that our Head of Server team would 
    • Figure out the best way to assess the talent to make sure they are the unicorn we are looking for
    • If we need to involve external partners, critically select and manage the partners and stay on top of the relationship to guarantee effectiveness
    • Needless to say, provide continuous support and communication with hiring manager and panel to make them feel at ease (and pressured when needed)
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of our general Hiring principles at Starship, as well as other People Policies you are interested in

This is what you would need to be set up for success in this role

    • You'd need to be a sourcing enthusiast with great tools in your backpack
    • You have 2+ years of tech roles sourcing experience, maybe have also tried out other roles in HR (not a must)
    • You have experience in international recruitment/sourcing
    • You have an understanding of the full recruitment cycle
    • Having a degree in a technical field is a plus
    • Ideally you have worked with high-growth fast paced startups before so you appreciate the hustle and bustle of such an environment
    • Excellent command of English
