Continued acceleration of our growth is fueled by landing new customers, expanding our platform through new products, managing new retail ecommerce platforms, and delivering exceptional customer service to unlock high net retention rates.
 
This position can be based anywhere in the United States.
 
The Role:
 
We are actively seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our Sales Ops team. In this role you will oversee our sales tech stack – both existing tools and recommend/implement new ones. As the second sales operations hire, you will also get exposure to other projects that create efficient sales processes and help scale the business. You will work with Sales and cross-functional teams to build or improve workflows, implement new tools, and drive sales and operational productivity.

Ideal candidates will have an appreciation for the operational components needed in order to build a world-class SaaS company and will be passionate about using tools to drive sales productivity. You thrive in the driver’s seat of complex, cross functional projects and have a deep understanding across the sales systems and tools that support go-to-market teams–including Salesforce CRM, etc.
 
What You’ll Do:
 
Focus on Go-To-Market tools with much exposure to many other aspects, (i.e - territories, reporting, deal desk, etc).
Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to improve and automate Sales, Sales Support and Sales Operations tools systems and processes.
Act as liaison between teams to vet and translate business objectives and needs into sales systems & tool requirements.
Work closely with business partners to develop clear requirements, business justification, and business outcomes to help assess risks and determine buy vs. build opportunities.
Working cross-functionally with Sales AE’s, Sales VP’s, CRO, CFO, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, CS/Marketing Operations.
Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize new feature requests based on their impact to the business.
Managing the tools, making improvements, implementing new ones, diagnosing problems, managing vendor relationships, renewals, helping in selection and evaluation of new ones.
Own projects end to end from requirements gathering to testing and deployment.
Create and maintain key documentation such as process flows, instructions, and use cases.
Create reports in Salesforce for a variety of stakeholders.
Act as subject matter expert for sales systems, data, and processes.
Monitor industry trends to ensure CIQ’s sales systems and tools are current with industry standards and best practices.
Get exposure to other parts of Sales Ops and play a critical role in shaping the future of the team.
 
What You’ll Bring:
 
Minimum 5 years total professional experience with 2-3+ years working with sales operations, sales systems, process, and tools.
Expertise in Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and connected applications with hands on experience implementing solutions and system integrations.
Experience with tools, such as email sequencing, call dialer, data enrichment, lead routing, analytics, commissions, sales enablement tools, and others.
An understanding of what a modern SaaS tech stack looks like and the latest industry trends.
Experience reviewing and procuring tools to support business needs.
Ability to translate business objective and requirements.
Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade others. Must work effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches.
Must possess business acumen, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present technical content to general audiences and develop trusted relationships across stakeholders.
Understanding of core business processes in a B2B SaaS technology environment; Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Customer Success, Professional Services.
Undergraduate degree required.
