Job Description

Flyhomes has a rare opportunity for  a highly motivated and energetic Account Executive to help build a Partner Sales Channel, the next billion-dollar business within Flyhomes, from scratch. Our small (but mighty) team is performing like a startup within a more established organization as we build Flyhomes For Agents (FFA), a unique platform for third party real estate agents to partner with Flyhomes Mortgage and gain access to Flyhomes financial products, turn-key operations, and institutional expertise in real estate. 

This role is focused on outside sales and is ideal for someone who is excited about getting in on the ground floor of a startup, who enjoys testing out different strategies for engagement and continually iterating to find the best solutions. You will be building your own book of business with strategic direction and working directly with high-performing Agents and Teams to attract, onboard and nurture them as they adopt Flyhomes products and services. Ultimately you will be compensated on the number of client introductions that have been generated as a result of the mid-market partnerships that you’ve built in the agent community. Most importantly, you will help shape the future of the next billion-dollar business within Flyhomes and take it nationwide. We can’t wait to build this business with you. 

What you'll do as our Mid Market Account Executive:

  • Set and run sales appointments with top Agents and Teams at Real Estate companies.
  • Ensure Agents understand the value FFA brings to them, by familiarizing yourself with each brokerage’s (and their agent’s) ecosystem to determine how FFA products best fit.
  • Become a product expert and represent the Flyhomes product portfolio and our programs at industry events, including trade shows and meetups, to engage Agents and their brokerages.
  • Build positive relationships with top real estate agents through proactive activities including cold-calling, managing appointments, and in-person meetings. This includes coming up with creative tactics to gain their attention if they do not respond to initial attempts to connect. 
  • Build on our Go-To-Market Strategy, create a plan for engagement and track results for continuous improvement  
  • Define standard methodologies for sales at FFA: continually improve processes and messaging for different audiences while providing clear and accurate reporting
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your experiences, skills, and abilities:

  • Must have access to reliable transportation and be willing to drive to multiple locations on a daily basis. 50-80% of your day will be in the field. Mileage will be reimbursed. Willingness to travel to neighboring cities is required.
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience successfully prospecting leads  
  • Experience or familiarity with the Real Estate, and/or Mortgage industry preferred.
  • A strong can-do attitude and a high level of urgency. FFA is a new business within Flyhomes and we are in an exciting ‘build & scale’ mode.
  • An ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive for action despite incomplete information and nebulous problems.
  • Excellent relationship management skills. You will need to be able to build rapport with  prospective clients quickly, and be able to nurture solid relationships . 
  • Comfortable designing and testing new sales processes and communication strategies.
  • Able to work remotely (high-speed, reliable internet) and in-person.
  • Willing and able to work beyond the typical 9 AM - 6 PM workweek, as needed.
  • Discipline and willingness to grow! 
  • Reliability, independence, and ability to succeed without much supervision or guidance. As we all build FFA, trust in one another’s progress is implicit and a must!
