About the role:

Our Care Delivery Engineering team collaborates closely with Product Management and Design to scale and strengthen the healthcare experiences for our members and clinicians. Our powerful healthcare app includes personalized Provider matching, 24/7 Telemedicine+, Expert opinions on diagnoses and treatment plans, and medical claims advocacy. Our Care Delivery organization’s mission is to deliver healthy outcomes for our members. We are focused on helping members engage with our medical and behavioral health practice through Telemedicine as well as continue to advocate, advise and inform them along their healthcare journey.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing Care Delivery Engineering team to help lead development of our products in a fast, accessible, and intuitive way. You will closely partner with our Product and Design teams on application design, user experience, developer workflows, deployment strategies, and testing of the applications.

What You'll Do

Work with product, design, and clinical staff, to understand stakeholder needs and build services and features to help deliver care.
Build integrations between systems to make the complexities of healthcare feel seamless to patients.
Collaborate and debate with the team and stakeholders, to teach and learn, and arrive on timely solutions that serve the needs of the business.
Own your work, from inception of ideas, to use in production.
Write and maintain well tested code across multiple services.
Help build and maintain metrics, monitoring, performance, and security of the systems we own.
Build foundational data models that afford flexibility and operational visibility.
Integrate our product offering with other products at Included Health.
Migrate features out of legacy products into new tech stacks to help us iterate and deliver value faster.
Our languages and frameworks include Golang, Ruby on Rails, Python, React and Typescript, Next.js, Salesforce and Apex, Docker, and GraphQL.

Your Qualifications

Strong full-stack experience with a desire to learn new technologies.
Experience architecting and shipping solutions to technical problems that solve the needs of diverse stakeholders.
Worked on API and interface design to integrate systems together and define clean service boundaries.
Strong technical communication skills and can collaborate and have healthy debates to arrive at solutions.
Experience with at least one front-end framework and strong Javascript fundamentals.
Experience in database modeling and data normalization.You’re independently driven to write clean, tested, performant code.
